HONG KONG TRIP ‘11
I recently traveled out to Hong Kong. It was my first time, and man what a trip it was. This year has been full of trips, I’ve been blessed to ride on a lot of planes & see a lot of random things. I didn’t realize this till I found out I was going though was that Hong Kong was my #1 destination that I wanted to go to of all time. Once Carl told me that we were going to make a trip out to Hong Kong I was pumped up like crazy.
Now lets see…So really early on when I was younger, whatever type of TV my parents would watch…It was pretty much what I watched. They were really really heavy on Stephen Chow movies, and the TVB dramas…so I’ve always been sort of a fan of HONG KONG. I grew up on the cinema, and cantonese to me always felt very comfortable even though its not the language my family speaks at home.
There was so much that I wanted to do when I got there. I literally barely slept. Going there and going back…i pretty much slept on the plane the whole time, and I rarely do that.
Man…Hong Kong Breakfast & DimSum. I loved the food.

Checked out the fashion and clothing (Toest checking out gear)
And of course we had to hit up everybody’s favorite area! + Wth! They got JACK & COKE in a Bottle?!
View from my hotel room + Chillin in the Business Lounge in HONG KONG before boarding our flight…

Wasn’t going to write too much about the trip. I came out with JV & Toestah. They both were going to do a little guest appearance for JIN THE MC’s BIG HONG KONG CONCERT. It was amazing to see the reception of Jin out there.
A couple observations about Hong Kong :
1) The walking pace in Hong Kong is ridiculous.
2) People’s fashion game is crazy! Everyone is willing to dress a lot crazier out there.
3) Shopping is NONSTOP, although I was told that its mostly mainlanders coming into Hong Kong to shop…its still pretty crazy that there are so many people shopping.
4) Hong Kong Breakfast is the shit!
5) Theres a lot of white people running around LKF.
6) MTR in HK is very efficient.
I didn’t take much pictures because I was running around with a camcorder most of the time, so you’ll see some interesting video footage that I’ll post up later!
Stay tuned….
